I have been involved in ceramics on and off since 2007. Whilst my full time job is a software engineer, ceramics has been one of my creative outlets. This lead me to take up a certificate in ceramics at The Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts and since then I have continue to practice my craft at various places in Singapore.
I like to create functional pieces so the mainstay of my work are bowls, vases and the like. I enjoy experimenting with different clays often exposing the original clay colors. Whilst all of my works are still glazed, I am drawn to the natural texture and color of clay.
My dream for the future is to carve out a possible career in this field. My blog is my ceramic journal and a platform to share.
